Audrina is back in town

Audrina: *sbadiglia* Come sono stanca! I viaggi mi stressano!
Audrina: * yawns *  I am so tired ! Trips stress me!

Skylar: Ma sei tornata da Milano il Giugno scorso!
Skylar: You came back from Milan the last June!

D*chess: E dopo gli impegni sul set, sei andata in vacanza per l'estate e da quando sei tornata qui, non hai fatto altro che dormire, chattare su Facebook e mangiare pizza!
D*chess: And after the work at the studios for the show, you gone on summer holidays and since you come back here, you did not do nothing but sleep, eating pizza and chat on Facebook!

Audrina: Va bene, ho capito, vi racconto tutto di Milano!
Audrina: Okay, I get it, I'll tell you everything of Milan!

Il giorno della partenza. Mentre aspettavo che si aprisse l'imbargo per il mio volo, ho curiosato un po' in giro in aereoporto con la speranza di fare incontri interessanti:

The day of the departure. While waiting it opened the boarding for my flight, I poked around a bit at the airport with the hope of interesting encounters:

Audrina: Giuro che se quella tizia onlus si avvicina ancora una volta a chiedermi "due minuti del mio tempo", le ficco quella sua cartelletta nel..

Audrina: I swear, if that non-profit organization chick is approaching me once again asking "two minutes of my time," I put that folder in her..

Dopo una lunga fila, sono finalmente seduta in aereo:
After a crowded boarding, I'm finally sitting in the plane:

Audrina: (rivolgendosi allo steward) Non posso abbassare gli oscuranti del finestrino? Ok, allora tra un quarto d'ora, quando sarò ben cotta, mi venga a girare dall'altro lato!

Audrina: (speaking to the steward) I cannot lower the blinds of the window? Ok, so a quarter of an hour, when I am well cooked, come to turn me on the other side!

Atterrata a Milano, non potevo non andare a vedere il Duomo:

Audrina: Alcuni miei fan vorrebbero offrirmi un gelato... Magari riesco a scroccare loro un pranzo completo!
Audrina: Some of my fans would like to offer me an ice cream... Maybe I can scrounge them a full meal!

Ho preso un taxi, la metro era troppo affollata per i miei gusti, e ho raggiunto il mio hotel. Un veloce cambio d'abito e mi sono diretta all'altro hotel dove si svolgeva la convention.

I took a taxi, the subway was too crowded for my taste, and I reached my hotel. A quick change of clothes and I headed to another hotel where the convention was held. 

Per evitare un'orda di miei fan impazziti che mi stavano aspettando (stupido ufficio stampa!), mi sono imbucata ad un evento contro l'anoressia party* dove è stato offerto un rinfesco:

To avoid a horde of my crazed fans who were waiting for me (stupid press office!), I crashed an event against anorexia party* where was offered a catering:

Audrina: Il bello dei party frequentati da modelle è che nessuna di loro è qui per mangiare! Mmmhh.. Quel vassoio pieno di roba sembra invitante...

Al party ho conosciuto, manco a dirlo, una mia fan, Kayla:

Audrina: Bè cara, portami in braccio fino alla hall, questi stivali mi stanno uccidendo!
Audrina: Well dear, take me up on your back down to the lobby, these boots aren't made for walking!

Giù nella hall ho incontrato una mia vecchia conoscenza, Lou, una top model che ho conosciuto ai Golden Globe di un anno fa. Ho proposto subito di andare a bere un aperitivo:

Down in the lobby, I met an old friend of mine, Lou, a supermodel who I met at the Golden Globe a year ago. I immediately proposed to go for a drink:

Audrina: Accidenti! Quando sono andata in albergo a cambiarmi, nella fretta ho dimenticato il portafogli in camera!

Audrina: Damn! When I went to the hotel to change my clothes, in a hurry I forgot my wallet in the room!

Lou: I miei shorts sono troppo stretti, non entra niente nelle tasche e non ho portato una borsa che si potesse abbinare alla mia blusa chinoiserie!

Lou: My shorts are too tight, not enter anything in the pockets and I didn't bring a purse that could match my chinoiserie blouse!

Kayla: .... ho capito, offro io! *sigh*
Kayla: ....ok, I'll pay! *sigh*

D*chess: Sei una persona orribile!
D*chess: You are a horrible person!

Skylar: Concordo!
Skylar: Agree!

Audrina: Ehi! Che male c'è se ogni tanto faccio valere i miei diritti di personaggio pubblico?
Audrina: Hey! What is wrong if sometimes I assert my rights as a public personality?

Lily: Esatto! Ben detto!
Lily: That's right! Well said!

Audrina: Ehi Lily! Stai bene!
Audrina: Hey Lily! You look good!

D*chess: Wow!

Lily: Non ho potuto fare a meno di provarlo! E' un abito favoloso!
Lily: I couldn't help but try it! It's a fabulous dress!

Skylar: Dove l'hai preso?
Skylar: Where did you buy it?

Prima sono andata ad assistere al fashion show:

Before I went to attend the fashion show:

Lily: Come mai non ci sono foto tue al fashion show?
Lily: Why there are no pictures of you at the fashion show?

Audrina: Non volevo spostare l'attenzione su di me, la scena doveva essere tutta per chi sfilava.
Audrina: I didn't want to draw attention to me, the scene was supposed to be for all those who paraded.

Però nella hall, fan e fotografi mi hanno assediata!:
But in the lobby, fans and photographers have siege me!:

Audrina: Su, gente, forza con queste foto, conosco solo altre due pose oltre questa!
Audrina: Come on with these photos, peeps, I know only other two poses besides this!

Dopo il fashion show, sono andata all'aperitivo di benvenuto, che precedeva la cena. L'aperitivo di benvenuto si svolgeva nel seminterrato dell'hotel, dove c'era questa scenografica fontana davanti alla quale tutti si mettevano in posa:

After the fashion show, I went to the welcome aperitif, which preceded the dinner. The welcome drink was held in the basement of the hotel, where there was this iconic fountain in front of which everybody strike a pose:

Audrina: Vuoi fare una foto con me di fronte la fontana? Ok, nessun probl.. Sono chele di granchio quelle???
Audrina: Want to take a picture with me in front of the fountain? Ok, no probl .. are those crab claws??

Ho conversato con non mi ricordo quante persone, posato per fotografie, risposto alle domande di coloro che erano interessati al mio abito. Lou era indifferente a tutto, del resto lei è una modella:

I talked to I don't remember how many people, posed for pictures, answered questions of those who were interested in my gown. Lou was indifferent to everything, after all she is a model:

Audrina: Ehm, Lou?

Lou: Fammi indovinare, vuoi che ti ceda il mio posto, così puoi star seduta comodamente a mangiare il contenutoo del vassoio dietro di me?

Lou: Let me guess, you want me to give up my place, so you can comfortably sit up to eat the contents of the tray behind me?

Poi c'è stata la cena di gala e la serata è trascorsa tranquilla e finalmente ho potuto allungare le gambe sotto il tavolo per togliermi le scarpe. Anche lì c'erano fan armati di fotocamera, smartphone e tablet:

Then there was the gala dinner and the evening passed without incident and I finally got to stretch my legs under the table to take my shoes off. Although there were fans armed with camera, smartphone and tablet:

Fan: Audrina sei stupenda!!
Fan: Audrina you're beautiful!

Audrina: Grazie cara! Metti la foto su Facebook con l'hashtag "audrinaseiunagnocca" così la trovo, mi raccomando!

Lily: Devo dire che mi hai piacevolmente sorpresa!
Lily: I have to say I'm pleasantly surprise of you!

Audrina: Oh, perchè?
Audrina: Oh, why?

Lily: Ti sei comportata, per una volta, da celebrità.
Lily: You acted, for once, as a celebrity.

Audrina: E' stato divertente!
Audrina: It was fun!

Così questo è il resoconto di Audrina del suo weekend Milanese e della sua partecipazione all'Italian Doll Convention. Non ci sono foto di Audrina alla sales room di domenica, perchè, sono stato impegnato (date un'occhiata qui). Ad ogni modo ha ragione Audrina, è stato divertente! Inoltre, cosa che non avrei mai pensato di riuscire a fare, ho fotografato Audrina in ben tre luoghi pubblici! Molto liberatorio, forse potrei anche farci l'abitudine.

So this is the report of Audrina's weekend in Milan and of her participation to the Italian Doll Convention. I haven't pictures of Audrina on Sunday at the sales room, because I was busy (check this out). Anyway Audrina is right, it was fun! Also, something that I never thought I could do, I photographed Audrina in three public places! Very liberating, maybe I could even get used to it.
